Sothern and Northern Hemisphere - Cloudiness(%) vs. Latitude Linear Regression
The line of regression shows that the Latitude and Cloudiness have a
VERY WEAK correlation. Latitude does not have much affect on Cloudiness. There are propotional number of cities
with varied percentage of cloud cover across all latitudes.
lot of cities across the Southern
Hemisphere have 0% clouds today and there is also a good percentage of cloudy cities with cloud cover
between 80% to 100%.
A lot of cities across the Northern
hemisphere have 0% clouds today and there is also a good percentage of cloudy cities with cloud cover
between 80% to 100%
Analysis and Observations:
Latitude does not have much affect on Cloudiness.
here are propotional number of cities
with varied percentage of cloud cover across all latitudes. A lot of cities across the globe
have 0% clouds today and there is also a good percentage of cloudy cities with cloud cover
between 75% to 100%. Why are there fewer cloudy cities past the latitudes of 75 N and 50 S?
